AleZz is an artist and the founder of the record label, Shape Records. He has over 18k followers on Instagram and is also known for his DJ music sessions that he records and shares in his YouTube channel.
How did you get started, and what has led up to where you are today as an artist?
I have always been a lover of electronic music and one day I decided to try making a song and since then I have not been able to stop. Regarding where I am right now it is a matter of perseverance and work.
Who do you feel has influenced you the most as an artist?
The artists that have influenced me the most are related to electronic music such as Tiësto or Marshmello.
What do you feel sets you apart from other artists and gives you your own sound?
I am trying to work on creating a charismatic image for the internet and above all taking out all the songs with feeling and with a motive behind.
What has been your biggest challenge and what do you feel you have learned from it?
At first when I upload my first sessions or my first songs, something that is difficult, especially at the beginning, is the criticism without arguments but destructive. Now they just don’t affect me. When someone criticizes you, they can only have 2 intentions, either to help you improve or to try to destroy you. You have to know how to filter the criticism and know the intention of each one.
Tell us about your latest project, what have you got going on at the moment?
Well, this next November 12, my new song comes out with Tearss called “Peace”. It is a quiet pop song but it transmits very good feelings when listening to it.
What advice would you give to anyone new coming into the industry?
The best advice I could give to anyone who is starting in this world is to take it as a hobby at first, and above all, do not despair to try to grow quickly, there are many artists with a lot of talent and it is difficult to stand out among so many people
