Chicago’s first Hispanic hip-hop/R&B superstar “Lito Garcia” is taking the industry by storm with his latest hit “What’s That” going viral on TikTok with Future Kingz leading the way and reaching Millions of views; as well as newest single “Shake It” charting Top 40 Entry for iTunesUK Peaking at No. 27
How did you get started, and what has led up to where you are today as an artist?
I started writing music at 13 years old singing and rapping. Ive put in mad work reaching millions of views promoting myself starting in the city and stretching beyond.
Who do you feel has influenced your sound the most?
R Kelly was my favorite singer growing up in Chicago. But I just love music. Every song might not sound like the next because I use my voice to fit whatever the vibe is for that record.
What do you feel sets you apart from other artists and gives you your own sound?
I just feel no sing sounds the same as the last. I create different tones, different sounds, and vibes to every beat. I don’t believe in staying in a box. I love doing rap, rnb, reggae, and even reggaeton.
What has been your biggest challenge and what do you feel you have learned from it?
My biggest challenge was leaving the label I was signed to and regaining everything I lost during that long contract. I lost a lot of years behind the scenes being promised dreams that they never did. So getting my life back together so I can get back to doing what I love to do was hard.
But I learned one thing they told me that sticks with me to this day when I told them I gave them my all and they left me like I was nothing. They said “Maybe you should never have put all your eggs in the basket” so now I move sharper than ever and control my own destiny. No matter who decides to be apart of what we have building here, we’re moving forward.

Tell us about your latest project, what have you got going on at the moment?
“Shake It” which just got released on iTunes and hit top 40 in UK is about to be the start of my run going for the rest of 2022. This is just the beginning.
What advice would you give to anyone new coming into the industry?
Never wait on someone else to do what you want to do in life. Time waits on no man and good things don’t come to those who wait. Good things come to those who grind and go get it.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank for getting you to where you are now, anyone you’d like to give a shout-out to?
Of course my mom and grandma, my first number one fans. Then course my friends and family supporting me who all know who they are. But special thank you to Arturo because when I left my label and was down bad. I started a job and he helped me get my mind right, realize the important things in life, and when I struggled financially he helped. Like a guardian angel god sent when I was at my worse. And the guy that brung me back to music when I was ready to throw it all away, Mikey. Love y’all.
