Chris Wheat grew up in Washington D.C. and Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2015 with a degree in philosophy and public affairs, after which he began a journey through the counterculture in search of a better way to create sustainable change in the world.
He believes in the power of art to inspire, to impact policy, and to impact social change. When he is not working in the arts he tries to stay involved in political activism.
“The Brain” is a reference to “Pinky and the Brain,” as well as a clever twist in the style of the psychedelic songs of the 60’s: What is “the same thing we do every night?” Chase girls? Or try to take over the world? Ultimately, the answer is rock and roll!
