Hailing from Alsace, France, Mathieu Schreyer, better known as MPKS is an up and coming Synthwave artist with a penchant for writing infectious tunes and relatable narratives. Inspired by 80s pop culture, MPKS spent a good amount of time playing Retro-gaming and enjoying movies such as Back to the future, Robocop, Predator and Terminator.
MPKS’ music journey began as a outlet to escape the real world. Being an avid storyteller, MPKS is greatly influenced by the sounds of the 80s, drawing inspiration for his music from movies, music and events from the past.
MPKS also seems to have a unique innate competency to ingeniously present music in multiple styles including Synthwave, Coldwave and New wave, all while maintaining a consistent brand, one of the factors that make this artist one to keep an eye out for.
With big dreams and plenty of energy to spare, MPKS seeks to positively influence society with his music.
