The King Rooks are the 4 piece indie/alternative-rock/post-punk band from Folkestone in Kent consisting of Jacob Blackman on Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, Jack Pawlica on Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals, George Axon on Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals and Matt Cotter on Drums. Their sound is a combination of big riffs, catchy melodies and huge choruses!
Shower With My Clothes On is a song about someone realising life hasn’t gone the way it was planned and can’t help but compare their own life to others. It also touches on the realisation that it’s okay to not be okay and it’s important to worry about yourself sometimes.
